Weekend Packing List

To view the following information in a single doc (that you can print) CLICK HERE.

  • We are referring to this as the Heart side of things. That’s really what this weekend is about. A few ways that you can participate in what the organizers have planned are below:

    1. During the Central Gathering on Saturday, October 26th starting at 1:00pm, we will collectively reflect on the incredible impact Rosetta had on each of us. There will be an invitation to share a memory with those seated close by you in the circle. For this conversation, we aim to have these memories sparked by a small physical item. There will be a collection of thought-producing items at the gathering, and we also invite you to bring a small physical item that reminds you of Zetty. Ideally this is something that captures an important element of Zetty's impact, core values you cherish, things that make you laugh, etc, and can easily/comfortably sit with you through the duration of the gathering. Small totems that can fit in your pocket, hand, at your feet are better at this moment than things you need to get up to go fetch. If you can't think of anything, forget, or choose not to bring something, there will be items available. You're also welcome to simply observe the beauty of her community around you.

    2. We are setting up the Bahn at Merrowvista to be Zetty’s Way. It will be filled with photos and other memories of her. We encourage you to bring a picture to share and place along the perimeter. We will have twine and clothespins to pin them up. Please bring an extra copy, if possible, to leave or post in another location around Merrowvista.

    3. One gifted friend of Zetty’s has designed a piece of art that she will screen print. Please bring a Tshirt or bandana or other cloth object for her to print the design so you can take it home. We will also have some bandana cloth and paper on hand for those who don’t have a shirt.

    4. Heart-shaped Stones to line the paths to the Central Gathering space.

  • Please bring a range of clothing and plan to layer up, especially for cooler evenings by the lake or the campfire. Check the weather before you pack so you can be as prepared as possible!

    • Exterior warm layer

    • Waterproof layer

    • Hiking boots, if you plan on hiking to the Ledge

    • Gloves, hats, scarves, etc.

    • Snow gear if needed – you never know

    • Bathrobe and Flip flops for the shower in the shared bathroom

  • Meals will be provided while at Merrowvista, so please do not bring any outside food or snacks unless you have special dietary needs or children who want their things – we get it. We don’t want food in the cabins because of curious critters, but there are places in the Eating Lodge to store extras.

Merrowvista is a safe and positive community that fosters an environment suitable to achieving your best self and living a balanced life. With that in mind, please do not bring knives, matches, tobacco, marijuana, fireworks, or firearms.

*Merrowvista is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

With RSVPs in a couple of weeks, we'd love to hear your ideas for the time together too.
